I noticed that you cannot place camo blocks on the frames from your dank storage, would this be possible to add perhaps through a datapack, or it needs specific compat added?

This would require dedicated compatibility, datapacks cannot do that. Unfortunately this is not feasible due to how camo application and removal works.
