[Feature]: Make blocks with fluid camo blend in better when immersed in that fluid.

Describe the feature
You can see in this image that there is a block with water camo below the gap in the waterfall. It would be nice if there was some way to make it so that the sides of the block don't show up under the water.
(This is on 1.20.1, 9.3.1)
I'm fairly certain I tried this at some point in the past and couldn't make it work. I'll look into it again but it's possible that it will only work in 1.21.1 and not in 1.20.1.

I wouldn't be able to benefit now in that case, but I'm sure I'll eventually play a mod pack with this in 1.21+. I mostly included the version in case this was something that had been fixed in a newer version.
