Issue Description

I always let my pet stay with me, and yesterday i pick my wolf to follow me, when i see an horde of zombie to fight he started to help me, and when i use my weapons to hit them my wolf was taking damage from my sword. Plus after the battle i wanted to test if the issue was happening again and i punch with my hand, he take damage, i have another pet owned and its take damage too.

I always come and install this mod on every playtrought i play because i love to stay with my pets and i want them to be safe from the attacks. The mod it was running perfectly on 1.16.x, 1.14.x and 1.20.1 was my latest version higher. Then when i wanted to use this mod on 1.12.2 looks like is not running properly, the mod is installed and the Config all are in true, but nothing seems to be not working.
