Version Info

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Fusion, 1.2.7

Forge

no optifine but sodium yes

Description of the Bug
When creating a mcmeta file for a continuous block texture and then removing it from the folder it still applies the continuous block texture. Deleting the texture file or removing the ressourcepack doesn't change anything and it stays this way in vanilla. Save and quitting does not work either. Only solution seems to be to restart the game completely to get intended behavior.

Steps to Reproduce
Install Fusion examples's continuous texture large stone bricks and load it. Then delete the files in the ressource pack or unload it, it should be bugged.

Screenshots
did that to change stone bricks and sandstone on the screenshot.

It seems indeed Fusion's texture metadata cache was just never cleared, hence the texture metadata would hang around even when reloading resources.
It should be fixed now in Fusion version 1.2.8.
Thank you for reporting the issue!
