The Hardmode Mod requires Geckolib 2.0.0, which is a very useful library for mob animations. You will need to download the Geckolib Mob and put it in your mods folder, otherwise you won't be able to run the Hardmode Mod !

The Hardmode mod aims to add post-Enderdragon content by adding "Hardmode", without changing the experience before the Enderdragon fight. "Hardmode" extends the game by adding new powerful mobs to fight against and new resources to collect.
This mod is heavily inspired by Terraria and uses many textures from the game as well.
Once you defeated the Enderdragon and go to the End islands, you will find a new small structure with a special block called a "Shadow Core". If you collect it and then use it, you will activate "Hardmode". Hardmode allows for 9 new very powerful mobs to spawn in your world, such as Reapers, Psychos, Titans, Assassins etc.. Diamond gear won't be enough to fight them, so you will have to collect new ressources in this brand new world to progress and survive !
The Hardmode Mod adds :
- 7 New Ores
- 10 New Mobs and 1 Boss !
- 8 New Armor Sets With Special Effects
- Many Powerful Weapons
- 2 new crops to harvest
- 26 new Advancements !
- And Even More Crazy Items !
Don't try to mine any of the new ores you'll find with a Diamond Pickaxe, you will need at least a Dragon Pickaxe to harvest the weaker ones. Do note that the new ores will only appear once you have activated Hardmode in your world.
Early Hardmode Tips :
- Craft a Dragon Pickaxe as soon as you enter Hardmode, so you will be able to mine the first new ores.
- Always upgrade your pickaxe with the new ores you will find, so you can mine the next tier.
- Getting a Looting III sword will be very useful to get special items from the new Hardmode mobs.
- Crafting a Dragon Armor just after you entered Hardmode will also be very useful early on.
- If you feel lazy and don't want to mine to get a new armor, you can try to kill Face Monsters to craft a Bloody Vertebra armor set.
- In the new 1.5 update, if you didn't have a diamond armor when you entered Hardmode, you can craft emerald gear slightly stronger than diamond once you entered Hardmode.
You are completely free to use this mod on any public servers, sharing it or adding it in your modpack. You don't have to mention my username neither, but you are not allowed to claim ownership of that mod.
