This is a vanilla+ mod this mod will make it hard for you.
Some people will just think it's hard and some will think it's cursed but I think it's both.

This mod contains things like a new boss called Dolphinhead with can summon its minions and vill drop a great reward that may help you from the overpowered mobs out in the wild. All the mobs are very overpowered and you can just randomly take lots of damage. The early game is very different from vanilla Minecraft since you can`t get oak, dark oak, or any type of plank except the planks that are just called PLANKS.
