I know you could control the spawn rate and size of oil deposits, but personally, I'd prefer if you could control how many times an oil derrick and pumpjack can extract oil and gas from a single deposit block before the block is dried up. I'd also like a setting where you can control how much oil and gas is extracted by a fracking tower per second, or perhaps some kind of fracking pumpjack that works faster but is more expensive and of course more power hungry than the normal fracking tower.
