If you use a cobalt pickaxe with the silk touch ability on any ores, the ore will drop 2 times. For exemple iron ore will drop 2 iron ore and diamond ore will drop one diamond and one diamond ore. Also mining an iron door will drop you 2 iron doors.

I couldn't replicate. this issue. Were you using any other mods?
