Overview
Hunger Strike (Fabric) is a Fabric "port" of Hunger Strike by Texelsaur, intended to expand upon what that mod offers.
It provides the following mechanics:
- Hunger is effectively removed. The meter is no longer displayed nor is exhaustion given to the player.
- The player will always regenerate health as long as the natural regeneration game-rule is turned on.
- Food items, when consumed, will heal the player.
- If the player has the hunger status effect, they will be unable to sprint.
Known Issues
- Natural regeneration is overpowered as it is not dependent on difficulty. I recommend you turn it off; however, I won't dictate your play style.
- The ability to stack food items makes the system much more unbalanced. This mod is not intended to be played by itself if you're going for a balanced playthrough.
- This mod may cause incompatibilities with mods that modify hunger mechanics. This is pretty obvious.
