This mod adds a new way to obtain gunpowder in your minecraft world.
Its my first mod so it might not be the best one.
You have to mix saltpeter, charcoal powder and sulfur together, but how will you get all the ingredients?
Tutorial on how to get saltpeter:
-Obtain Limestone
-Craft the Compost block
-Craft a Nitrification Vessel and insert the compost in it's slot, then insert the limestone in it's slot
-Wait for the nitrification to take place; it will require some time
-Once finished, you will obtain nitrified earth. Mix it with a water bucket and wood ash to get nitrified water.
-Boil it in a furnace to get a saltpeter block that can be transformed in 9 saltpeter in a crafting table.
Saltpeter can also be mixed with dirt to create bone meal to fertilize crops
You can also mine saltpeter sand in deserts!
Tutorial on how to get sulfur
-Mine sulfur ore and get raw sulfur
-Smelt raw sulfur to get solidified sulfur
-Crush it in a crafting table with a mortar and pestle to get sulfur powder
Tutorial on how to get charcoal powder
-Put charcoal in a crafting table with a mortar and pestle
Suggestions are welcome
Planned additions:
- (ADDED) Saltpeter ore that spawns rarely in deserts but with 30 ores in a single vein
- (ADDED) Mortar and pestle to crush the different ingredients into powder to make the mod more immersive.
- (ADDED IN LAST UPDATE) Slighty nerfing saltpeter sand as its more common than expected
- Making saltpeter, sulfur and the gunpowder recipe compatible with other mods
- Making config file to select how much gunpowder to get from the recipe
