[1.19.2 Quilt] Major performance degradation (low fps) with both Create and Requiem

According to your testing, does the issue occur with ONLY Immersive Portals mod and Fabric API?

No

Describe the issue

When used with both Requiem and Create simultanously the FPS go down to double digits (on my rig 20-60).

When either Requiem, Immersive Portals or Create (either one) is disabled the average fps go up to 200+.

This effect is even more visible with Sodium (three mods present = 40 fps, either one disabled = 1000+ fps).

In the coming days I will try to test this using Fabric instead of Quilt and report here.

Yes, I linked the exact versions I used.
I made sure to test on just the three.
Oh, it reminds me. It seems to only happen on Windows.
I tested on my M1 Macbook Pro and did not see any performance difference.

It seems that this can potentially be caused by more than just these 3 mods.
Disabling Requiem in a larger modpack with both Create and ImmPtl present did not fix the issue while disabling Create did.
Perhaps there is something between ImmPtl and Create that can cause performance problems with some other mods?

So it's a 3-mod compatibility issue? Only ImmPtl + Create + Requiem will cause lag?

For what it's worth, I'd like to second this exact issue: my server of 4 players all have serious FPS issues when both Create Fabric (create-fabric-0.5.0.i-946+1.19.2) and Immersive Portals (immersive-portals-2.3.1-mc1.19.2-fabric) are running their respective bits in a loaded area. Using the Spark profiler, I noted that on approach to a large, lag-inducing Create machine with a nearby IP running, the IP's share of the Render thread grew monstrously, to 40% -- FPS tanks on all four of our machines. Test builds removing either mod fixes the lag spikes. Similar results as OP when it came to Sodium also spiking. Perhaps these bleeding-edge versions of Create changed something? Glad to provide details or logs on request. Just thought I'd throw in a +1. Thanks!
