Is it a mod compatibility issue?
Yes
If it's a mod compatibility issue, please provide the link(s) to the incompatible mod(s)
BetterTrims:
Minecraft version
1.20.1
Describe the issue
When lighting a portal, the game immediately freezes before the portal could be initialized. The game becomes unresponsive and after a while crashes to desktop. In singleplayer worlds, reopening the world shows that no portal link has been established before the crash, thus it is impossible to enter the Nether while both Immersive Portals and BetterTrims are loaded.
On a modded Fabric server, only the modded Minecraft client crashes. Rejoining the server is fine and even shows that the linking of portals was successful.
Both mods work great/fine on their own.
Run on Fabric loader version 0.14.22 for Minecraft 1.20.1, which is run on a Windows 10 computer with an Nvidia GPU.
Mods used during testing:
- fabric-api-0.86.1+1.20.1
- modmenu-7.2.1
- sodium-fabric-mc-1.20.1-0.5.0
- bettertrims-1.2.2
- immersive-portals-3.2.3-mc1.20.1-fabric
I've attached a log file of the Minecraft fabric client and a crash report.
This is fixed already in the version 2.1.0 of Better Trims, isn't it? https://github.com/Bawnorton/BetterTrims/releases/tag/2.3.1
I'm using Immersive Portals 3.3.7 and BetterTrism 2.3.1 in Fabric 0.16.0 Minecraft 1.20.1 and I didn't have any crash.
