The issue I had was the when I would increase my render distance to say, 64.. I would apply and exit the menu and it auto revert back to 32 immediately

I found the same exact issue, that's pretty sad, I hope they will fix it cause I absolutely LOVE this mod

Just found out this was incompatible with Bobby. The fake chunks stop rendering when using Immersive Portals.
