[Feature Request]: Difficulty cap when using Distance based scaling

Hi, got a server for multiple people and using this to buff the mobs, problem is the global scaling brutally punishes those who are new to the world where everyone else is equipped.

Tried to set it to a distancespawn scaling where the first 1k blocks is 0.0 and targets around 250 at 10k blocks except now, if we went super far exploring, the difficulty keeps going up to the point of mobs being unkillable and extending the distance makes the mobs closer to spawn weak for a long distance.

If there is already a solution to this type of issue, I'd love to know.

Solution

suggestion would be for an additional setting that can cap the difficulty once it reaches a certain value regardless of distance travelled, this can make it so I dont need to go 30k blocks for 500 difficulty but also not having 5k blocks from spawn be moderately difficult without far distances being extremely difficult
