Incontrol config works with SP but not Server

The crash reports say the maxcount rule doesn't the right values. When I simplify the rule to only have a number value, then the mob spawning gets out of control. Everything was fine in singleplayer, am I doing something wrong?

I've done a bit of testing:
-Simplifying the maxcount and mincount rule
-Running it with just mincount or just maxcount
