Years ago I made a mod called ''Travel Revolution mod''. Back then that was my masterpiece, but over time I realized that it was pretty bad.
I decided to fix it by creating little separated mods that add the things that I liked the most about that mod, and here you have a part of this fixing: Insects!
Minecraft has very few insects: spiders (that aren't considered ''insects'' by many people) and bees (added in 1.15) and this mod aims to add a few more insects to Minecraft!
What does this mod add?
This mod adds 8 insects, 6 food items, 1 regular item and 2 armors.
Information about these insects:
Verdant fly: Savanna, beach, jungle edge
Ant: Plains, forest, taiga, stone beach, roofed forest
Honey ant: Birch forest, taiga hills, taiga M, forest M, forest hills
Maggot: Plains, roofed forest, savanna, swamp
Ladybug: Taiga, taiga hills, taiga M, forest, forest hills
Jungle spider: Jungle, jungle hills, jungle edge, jungle M
Patagonian dragon: Ice mountains
Information about the items:
Ant leg: Can be eaten and cooked. Ants drops this item.
Insect wing: Can be used to make wearable wings. Flies drop this item.
Honey drop: Can be eaten. Honey ants drop this item.
Dead maggot: Can be eaten and cooked. Maggots drop this item.
Dead ladybug: Can be eaten. Ladybugs drop this item.
Ladybug shell: Can be worn as a chestplate. You get this item by melting dead ladybugs.
Wearable wings: Can be worn as a chestplate.
