Iron Tanks is a Buildcraft add-on for Minecraft which adds tiered capacity and special purpose tanks to the game. Iron Tanks follows strict Minecraft physics, meaning a one block space can hold 8x more stuff as long as you build the container out of diamond, and as long as you surround the glass container with obsidian blocks, it will be explosion proof. These tanks and more can add hours of fun and excitement to the game:
- Tiered capacity tanks, Glass (16 buckets), Copper (24 buckets), Iron (32 buckets), Silver (42 buckets), Gold (48 buckets) and Diamond (64 buckets) each building on the proceeding tank to cram more and more stuff in the same cube of space!
- In place upgrade items so you don't have to worry about running out of space
- Explosion proof Obsidian tanks
- The Void tank destroys fluids that enter it.
- For testing, and creative worlds there is the Creative tank which provides an infinite supply of whatever fluid you put in it.
If you want to get started with Iron Tanks today, head over to the Curse page where you'll find the most recent version ready to go. Simply download the most recent release for your version of Minecraft, and stick it in the mods folder of your Forge modded Minecraft game. Remember though that this is an add-on to Buildcraft, so you need to at least have Buildcraft installed or nothing will work.
