LOTR Extended — addon to the LOTR mod, the theme of which is two continents from the world of "Lord of the Rings" that are not in the game. Creator — Hummel009.
Created in autumn 2016 as LOTR Delta submod. This submod did not have a code part and only replaced old biomes with new ones in terms of texture. In the spring of 2020, it was recoded so that it already added new content without replacing the old one. It later became part of LOTR+ when Hummel009 and FirstKalik agreed to cooperate.
October 7, 2020 Hummel009 said that the collaboration did not work out and announced a separate LOTR Extended. Now it was not a submod, but an addon.
July 26, 2022, the addon was re-released with all bug fixes as part of LOTR: The Trilogy. The addon is currently compatible with the latest version of LOTR — v36.14, Minecraft 1.7.10.

- New Block: malegon, from Sindarin "yellowstone"
- New continents: Dark Lands and Sun Land.
- New Biomes: Yellow Mountains, Jungles of the Dark Lands, southern tundra, taiga and permafrost, desert and mountains of the Sun and others.
- New Waypoints: Barazimabul, Mablad Dum, Narad Dum, Nifudisi Landing, Aldarion Landing.
