What is Magnificent Malachite?
Magnificent Malachite is a Minecraft mod made for FABRIC. It adds a new ore material, Malachite, which can be used to upgrade your Diamond Tools to Malachite Tools in a Smithing Table.
Why choose Malachite over Netherite?
Malachite tools may not be as durable as Netherite Tools, but they are really really light-weighted, which makes it possible to instantly mine blocks with Malachite Tools enchanted with Efficiency 5 (V).
The attack speed of Malachite Tools is also much higher than the vanilla Minecraft materials, such as the Malachite Sword which has an attack speed of 5.
Nearly the same goes with Malachite Armor (Only v1.1.1 and upwards). It has less duarbility, but it is as strong as Netherite, but without armor toughness, and a much higher enchantability (chances of getting better enchants when enchanting).
NOTE: Malachite Tools and Malachite Armor CAN burn in lava!
Where can you find malachite naturally generated?
Malachite Ore (and it's deepslate variant) generates in all biomes at Y 8 all the way down to Y -40. It usually generates in veins of 2-3.
