This mod adds in extra content to expand Survival mode gameplay by adding in new mobs, blocks, biomes, dimensions, and crafting recipes. The purpose of these additions is to push the player to obtain more valuable tools and items while also eliminating some of the unnecessary roadblocks players face in survival mode, such as obtaining items like saddles and CDs. Some of this extra content includes:
20+ ores spanning across all three dimensions. These ores drop various items, but they change gameplay experience by allowing players to obtain wood, bones, gunpowder, quartz, and various gems in the overworld through ores. In the nether, the player can now easily obtain anthracite, a fuel that smelts 16 items, as well as other minerals used to craft tools and armor. This includes burning diamond, the nether-equivalent of diamond. In the end, the player can obtain the rare tiger's eye ore, which can make an armor set that gives the player 5 positive status effects.
10+ tools and armor sets. This includes a craftable sword (Vanilla Slice) that does 48 attack damage but requires the totem of undying, nether star, and ender dragon head. In addition, it also includes aquamarine armor, which is as strong as diamond and gives water breathing. All nether sets also give the player fire resistance, so fighting Ghasts and Blazes are much easier after a few simple mining trips instead of mob fighting.
New biomes that come with trees and wood (bayou, mangrove, and palm). All wood types can be made into planks, and the trees can be regrown from saplings dropped from the leaves. In addition, this mod also adds beaches with different colored sands to add to the exploration experience.
