MinerParty is a mod which allows players to play together in a single world with minimal settings. In order to open up a server, the player only needs to press 'Open to LAN' in a singleplayer world, and other players can join in by entering @username in the IP field in the Multiplayer GUI.
This mod requires Fabric to run.
This mod leverages UPnP and TCP Hole Punching to establish a direct connection between players, but depending on your router and operating system, it may or may not work. So far it has only been tested on Windows and Linux. Feel free to submit an issue here if it doesn't work for you.
This mod is still in its alpha stage, much work is needed to make it work stably.
