hi, i've made an addon for modular machinery before and you can find my code here

unfortunately there's little documentation in my code, but modular machinery has some comments on how things work. you should be able to cross-check the existing modular machinery components to create your own. if you need any extra help you can find me on the astral sorcery/modular machinery discord.
