Single blocks that have both an input, output, and controller GUI would be nice for some things if it's possible. If it had some fluid capacity, even better.

The thing that gave me the idea was making a chemistry workstation. Just a collection of blocks that look like they would fit in a chemistry lab set up in a certain way. It works well but having to have one of each type of functional block takes away from its appearance.

I was also thinking it might be nice to have the ability to designate blocks from other mods as controller/input/output blocks. For instance, I have a very nice campfire block model which can be incorporated into a build and it would be cool if players could click on that to bring up the input/output.
