I really Like your mod, and the selection tool for export in json the machine block is a really nice add. I wonder if you can add a new way to select a complete machine using only the selection of the 2 opposite corner. For a big machine is little complicated some time to select the block in centers, so with that possibility, you can export big machine by selecting the 2 opposite corner.

After, if needed is realy easy to just remove some block, if by example the json contain some air block, for fix the machine.

Possibly other thing can be cool, is add way to unselect a air block, using your selection tool... Now for do that, I need to add a block a this place, unselect and remove that block.

I'm kind-of against adding such convenience features. You have to consider that every block you "force" to be placed by the user is another block the user has to lookup where to place and actually place it. That's 3-4 times more work for the user than it is for you to begin with. And if it already feels like a massive hassle just to select all blocks, think about how much of a hassle it'll be for the user to build that machine. Not a great prospect. So i'll refrain from that.

"Unselecting" an air block is harder than it sounds like and ways to add that functionality would leave a lot of cases where it instead de-selects something you wouldn't have actually wanted to deselect. So... well.. not much i can do there that would add more comfort in using that except "just place a block there quickly and be done with it".
