instead of /get lostitem history it would be /get lostitem cursor but then there would be other sub commands too. Like these:

• garbage (from when u clear ur inventory with destroy item in creative)
• clear (from if you or someone else /clears u)
• dropped (items u drop obv)
• chest (from when u put ur item into another gui)
• place (when u place a block)
• nbt (just save everything that has custom nbt into it's own thing, no matter how u got or lost it)

I will most likely add this at the same time as #111
Instead of the different "levels" mentioned in that suggestion, I could make the different lostitem categories be toggleable
