Fabric 1.16.5+ mod (requires Fabric 0.11.3+ and Fabric API) could work on older versions but that's what it was made for
This fabric mod adds a fungus stew that you can craft with nether fungi.
It gives less saturation than normal mushroom stew but gives 30 seconds of fire resistance and can be eaten when full.
