This mod has been discontinued, as most of its features are now available in my 1.12 mod, Subterranean Switcheroo.

Once upon a time, I was walking through the nether, and my pickaxe broke. I said to myself, "Eh, whatever, I'll build a netherrac pickaxe"
Then, I remembered. I can't do that.
Then, I said, "Wait, why can't I do that?"

Thus the earliest form of this mod was born.

This mod has a few main goals:
 - Add no new mobs, mob drops, structures, or natural blocks.
 - Allow players to make nether tools
 - Allow players who spawn in the nether with no portal to escape.

I highly recommend using this alongside:
 - Just enough items (check your crafting recipes)
 - Wither Skeleton Tweaks (Makes the final grind like 20x less awful)

Known issues:
 - This was made in MCreator, because of that, there are a few parts I wanted to do but couldn't:
 - Crafting Table and Furnace are vanilla ones, not nether retextures (I'd have also liked the furnace to have slightly different burn times)
 - All the textures on things made from Lava Crystals are super ugly. If anyone wants to submit better ones, I'd be happy to use them.
 - Getting enough skulls to escape the nether is too hard right now.
 - I'd love to be able to fix the bugs with Pigmen aggroing, since you're supposed to not fight them right now, and if, say, a ghast shoots one, then all of them will try to kill you, but it's a vanilla bug and really outside my range.

Tips:
- If you're doing a pure nether world, look for soul sand, glowstone, and gravel as fast as you can
- If you're doing a pure nether world, note that you cannot get a chest from anywhere but finding them in nether fortresses, so you'll have to manage your inventory very carefully.
- A nicer nether will still kill you. Be careful.
- Scythes can get smite if you craft them using extra material. Good for dealing with wither skeletons.

Modpacks:
If you ask me first, on curseforge/curse/MCF, you may use this in your modpack. No need to wait for a response. If you don't ask, the answer is no. I reserve the right to ask anyone to remove this from their pack, but don't expect to have to do so.

The Easier Ender companion mod will be along shortly, as it's way smaller than this.
