Describe the Bug

In Vanilla Minecraft, smooth lighting is bugged and does not work on water.

With Sodium installed, this bug is fixed.

However, if I install Nostalgic Tweaks along with Sodium, and enable "Old Water Lighting", the bugged water is back.

Bug Context

Something to note is that some people may prefer having the lighting bug there, since that's how it was in old Minecraft, and some people may prefer having the water lighting smoothed out while still having the old water lighting.

There is now a separate toggle for this in beta 9 now. I'll eventually add a backport tweak for 1.20.1. Thank you for the suggestion!
