[FORGE] Unable to join vanilla servers, unlike Fabric version

Version Information
Minecraft Version: 1.20.1
Forge Version: 47.2.0
Nostalgic Tweaks Version: 2.0.0-Beta-8.4.1
Describe the Bug
On the forge version, when attempting to join a vanilla server or a server that does not have Nostalgic Tweaks present, the connection will refuse and say you need to remove the mod to be able to join. The fabric version works just fine under these conditions even if server-sided tweaks are enabled.
Crash Report
N/A
Bug Context
Tested with only Nostalgic Tweaks enabled and the same config.
