A rewrite of this mod is in the works (still 1.12) with tons of bug fixes & qol enhancements, texture improvements, and a bunch of stuff returning from njarm1! The progress can be viewed here.
Welcome to Not Just Another Ruby Mod 2! This mod not only adds rubies to your game, but also adds new blocks, items, mobs, bosses, structures (coming soon), world gen, tweaks, and more! A list of most of what this mod currently has to offer is below. This mod has new content for your early game & late game experience! You can not repost this mod. I don't think there is much I can do to stop this, just don't please. You can use this in modpacks (or anything really, just not reposts). If you do use this in a modpack, please make sure there is a link to this project.

• Chest Boats: Look down and right click while in the boat to open its inventory, or get out of boat, and shift + right click. This can be configured to any modded boat!
• Barrel: ported from vanilla 1.14
• Waterlogged blocks: ported from vanilla 1.13
• Waterlogging supports any fluid from any mod
• Kelp, Seagrass, and Sea Pickles: ported from vanilla 1.13
• Coral: ported from vanilla 1.13
• Nether Reactor Core: ported from Minecraft PE v0.11.0. More info about the block's functions can be found on the official wiki linked here.
• Blue Fire: concept from vanilla 1.16, however the block functions differently. While it is stood in, it deals 1/4 of your max health, while lit on fire, it deals 1/4 of your current health (damage bypasses armor).
• Lodestone: ported from vanilla 1.16
• Lightning Rod: ported from vanilla 1.16
• Fire Infused Sponge: a sponge that can absorb any liquid!
• Stalactites: these have a model to fit with Quark's Stalactites. Fall damage caused by this block is multiplied by 3.
• Chain: ported from vanilla 1.16. This can be climbed.
• Magic Mirror: right click to teleport to your spawn point. Right click a non-player creature to teleport it to your spawn point instead.
• Dark Arrow: instantly kills any non-boss & non-player creature!
• Dummy: when this is attacked, it will display the damage it received. Shift + Left Click to remove.
• More Horse Armor: leather can be dyed, sapphire grants fire resistance, netherite offers over twice the protection as diamond.
• Rupees: not rubies!
• Heart: sometimes drops from hostile creatures. It cannot be picked up. When a player attempts to pick it up, the player heals instead.
• Bonus Heart: grants the user an extra permanent heart! This drops from the Red Dragon.
• New command (getid): client-side command that returns the number id given the name, or a name given a number id! I think modpack makers will find this command very useful!
• More tree types!
• Blue fire resistance potion!
• Poppy Sword: based on the Rose Sword from the Orespawn Mod. The first thing that got me into modding was the Orespawn mod (check it out here). Without it, I'm not even sure any of my mods would exist!
• Two new painting designs!
• Pigmen: ported from vanilla 1.16, but has a texture to better fit 1.12.
• Highland Coo: can be milked & sheared!
• Moobloom: concept from Minecraft Earth, however this functions very differently. To get it's flower, or swap flowers, it can be bonemealed or sheared. This can be configured to any modded flower! This spawns in flower forests.
• Blestem: shoots shulker bullets, but will attack close range as well. This spawns in the end.
• Fire skeleton: self explanatory lol.
• Fire Creeper: again, self explanatory.
• Mummy: a zombie variant that can spawn with rare equipment!
• Glow Squid: ported from Minecraft Earth. This spawns in swamps, and will sometimes drop Prismarine Crystals when killed.
• Sap: slime variant that spawns in forests instead of swamps!
• Blood: slime variant that spawns in the nether. When this attacks, it has a chance of growing its size!
• Cluckshroom: concept from Minecraft Earth (ty to GwenBlanketKnight for encouraging me to add it). This functions like the Moobloom, but with mushrooms.
• Enderman Skeleton: an Enderman with a bow (wow didn't expect that). This only spawns in the end.
Tweaks:
• Change any item's max stack size via a config!
• New quality of life recipes!
• Water is now colored based on the biome!
• Eggs now drop Egg Shells when thrown, or when used in a crafting table!
• Leaves with snow on them now have a unique color!
• Better snowy terrain!
• Players can now blink! The photo above shows how it can be added to your skin. Any other players with this will also blink! (the player blinking is disabled in the config by default)
• Wither potions can now be crafted!
• The totem of undying can now be placed! When it is placed, any player or tamed mob that dyes within range gets resurrected!
• Items now float on water!
• Items can now be set to be fire resistant (via config)!
• Hoes can now be used to break certain blocks faster! This is ported from vanilla 1.16.
• Snow Layers now fall like sand and gravel! This is ported from Minecraft BE.
• All animals of the same species in a group now panic when one is attacked! (this only happens when the difficulty is set to hard)
• More debug info is now shown (the F3 screen)!
• The initial world loading percent is now displayed in-game! (The tip at the bottom left is added by the JustTheTips mod. It's installed to show compatibility).
• Magma now generates around any pool of lava!
• Experience Orbs now render transparent!
• Some trees in swamps now have roots!
• Mushrooms spawn in swamps!

• Minecraft BE style creative flight!
