🧾 About:
OABCR develops new horizons and layers in the Minecraft underground. Currently it features nearly 70 new stone and variant building sets. These stones are generated in a variety of methods to diversify everything from the mountaintops down to bedrock.
The content of this mod was adapted from Project Rankine.
The mod is currently available for Neoforge on MInecraft 1.20.4. It is currently in Alpha due to unfinished features and testing. Please provide feedback on any aspect of the mod.
🌎 Features:
Stone Layers
The underground is broken into more layers than the typical stone and deepslate. These layers also bend and slope to mimic real-world alterations and shapes of our rocky landscape. The type of stone generated is dependent on the crustal region (oceanic or continental) and the average depth of the stone. Certain stones will generate in and near ocean biomes only. The depth factor means that you won't typically find sedimentary stones near the bottom of the world and some igneous stones only generate at the bottom.
Intrusions
Vertical igneous stone veins that formed from magma cooling in cracks in the stone background. The hot magma will also cause some of the surrounding stone to be metamorphosized, generating a "shell" of altered stone around the intrusion.
Batholiths
Large regions of a single igneous stone created from a cooled magma pocket. These regions can be hundreds of blocks wide. They will also generate a metamorphic shell in the surrounding stone.
Ore Veins
Similar to the granite-copper and tuff-iron veins, two new sprawling complexes were added. Large veins of coal ore can be found in the upper regions of the world. A quartzolite-gold vein spans the depths.
Custom Registries
New datapack registries were added in order to add/change the stones used for generation. The registries are "oabcr:stone_layers", "oabcr:batholith_blocks", "oabcr:intrusion_blocks", "oabcr:intrusion_shells".

- Use Excavated Variants as a dependency for ore texture matching

- Expand configs for non-datapackable generation values
