About:
Oblivious Tweaks adds a variety of Vanilla-esque features to Minecraft!
Additions:
New Weapons!
The Spear can be used for both ranged attacks and melee, but be careful, once thrown you'll have to go pick it up again!
The Silver Sword deals extra damage to Vampires and to Wither Skeletons, great for farming heads!
For those who prefer a stealthier approach, the Iron Dagger deals damage quickly, or can be used for a heavily damaging stab attack, which does more damage the closer you are!
The Pistol is a more powerful crossbow that can be obtained from Pirates! It fires shot but takes longer to load.
The Musket is even more powerful than the pistol, capable of dealing up to 9 hearts of damage. But be careful, if you miss you'll be out of the fight for a while until you reload!
New Mobs!
The Vampire is a deadly mob that spawns at night. They spawn alone, but deal Wither on hits and will occasionally spread vampirism to their targets! However, they are vulnerable to silver...
The Vampire Hunters were a group dedicated to eradicating the Vampire scourge from Minecraftia! However, they were ill prepared for the other dangers of the world and have succumbed to the Zombie Plague. They will attack the player on sight, but can be distracted by the sight of their former enemy...
Pirates used to roam the Minecraftia seas, but now all their ships have sunk and they have been forced to land. These pistol-wielding foes can be found on beaches, and drop their spoils of gold when killed!
New Material!
Enhance your Iron by gilding it with Gold! Gilded Iron is only slightly stronger than Iron, but it is much more enchantable! Use it to make tools, armour and a spear!
New Block!
The Shelf replaces the Bookshelf! Made using 6 planks, you can right click the shelf with a book to add it, or shift click to remove a book! The number of books affects the enchanting power of nearby enchanting tables!
Any preexisting/spawned vanilla bookshelves still work and can be converted into shelves by shift clicking/breaking them!
Tea!
Find Tea Seeds in sunken shipwrecks, and grows them into Tea Leaves!
Tea Leaves can be used with the new Kettle and Teapot to brew Tea!
Tea provides more saturation than hunger, so is great to drink before a long journey or a big fight! (or any other time).
Clover!
Find Clover Seeds in dungeons and strongholds and grow it into Clover Leaves!
These can be combined with Gilded Iron to make Clover Flowers, which in turn can be made into Bottles of Enchanting!
New Effects!
Those afflicted with Vampirism inflict wither upon their enemies, and are immune to other illnesses! However, they will burn in sunlight unless equipped with a classy Parasol!
Avoid contracting Vampirism or other nasty effects by drinking a Potion of Prevent Disease! This ensures that for the next 5 minutes you do not contract any illnesses or diseases! However, it does not cure any existing afflictions you may have.
And MORE!
