Sapience adds the ability for piglins to trade items to you even if you give them a golden nugget and golden block,, however Alchemists have no loot table coded for that, so they just end up stealing the gold you give them. There's also the issue with them picking up a golden item that they cannot equip that isn't an ingot, as they just put it in their right hand and lose the ability to fight with their bow.
