Disclaimer: This is my first mod. I'm teaching myself as I go, this won't be perfect nor will it be done any time soon. This is mainly just a way to get it out there that this exists and will be awesome if I can make it as I imagine.
This mod is for anyone who played with and loved the Lego Power Miners theme from 2009 and 2010. It was always my favorite theme of Lego sets and after finding some of my old sets in a time capsule I made for myself when I was 10, it got me wanting to play with these suckers again. Other than buying the sets again, there is little to no way to have fun with the power miners like we did as kids. I wanted to find a Power Miners game but all I could find were the mini games I used to play on the Lego website. Lego Worlds has a crystal crag biome, some rock monsters, and the Thunder Driller but that's about it. So here we are, Powers Miners the Minecraft mod.
Features so far:
5 types of Crystal found throughout the overworld
red, orange, blue, lime, green
2 new rare biomes.
Crystal Crag and Crystal Crag Lakes (the crags are very ugly at the moment, I haven't decided on a solid design for them yet, but the crystal ore is a lot more common in these 2 biomes though.)
Crystal structures in the crags
only blue at the moment though.
Planned Features:
Crystal structures in all 5 colors and blocks to go with.
Rock Monster hostile mobs - tamable if possible.
Big fig Rock Monsters as mini bosses or just regular hostile mobs.
throw-able dynamite among other handheld mining tools.
and most importantly
Vehicles! The Thunder Driller, Claw Digger, Crystal Sweeper, I want to add as many as I can with as much functionality as possible.
Again this is a work in progress. This mod is not done and it will take time, a lot will change as I learn more and improve things here and there.
I also plan on making this available for versions 1.12.2 and 1.14.4.
