🔎 Detailed Description (WIP)

(Click to reveal Spoiler below)

The information below refers to the latest up-to-date version of the mod for the newest versions of Minecraft.
If you are playing on older versions, you may find that some features are missing or work differently.

The Fallen Adventurers

As you explore the world you may stumble upon the remains of your predecessors who were less fortunate than you. You'll find them both on the surface and in the most unexpected places - this mod encourages careful exploration of every corner of your world. Skeletons have many different variations depending on thier location, biome or dimension (this has built-in support for almost all modded biomes and dimensions aswell).

Smashing the body of such fallen adventurer will give you random items that he probably carried with him before he turned into a pile of bones. Be careful: some fractured skeletons can be a haven for small creatures (including unwanted ones), and skeletons that look quite intact may come to life and attack you (and if this happens in daylight they'll be wearing some weak helmet for sun protection). If the skeleton didn't wake up, you may also get some bones or rarely a skull straight away. If the skeleton has a tool or weapon, it can also drop, having random durability and sometimes enchantments or curses.

Below are all skeleton types and their main drops (except bones and skulls that can drop from all of them). Items are arranged in order from most common to rarest, skeletons are divided into 'groups' based on where they can generate.

⚙️ Configuration & Customization (WIP)

Data-driven content

This mod does not have config files, however many things are data-driven in the latest mod version. This means that if you are a modpack creator or an advanced user who knows how to work with datapacks, you will be able to change dropped loot, increase or decrease the amount of generated skeletons, or even disable them completely in desired biomes and dimensions.

All skeletons in the mod are generated based on vanilla worldgen features. Each skeleton does not use separate wordgen feature, instead they are grouped together based on biome (e.g. all mushroom skeletons use the mushroom_skeletons worldgen feature).
