Reap n' Sow
Reap n' Sow is a mod that expands the variety of uses to useless Minecraft items, while also providing a range of new farmable methods as well as uses.

The mods aren't needed, but allow's for some of their items to be used in conjuction with new recipes which can be found using JEI
New Items
- Wax Paste, allows you to wax copper blocks, has up to 16 uses can be enchanted with Unbreaking and Mending.
- Nitre, Nitre Ore can be found within Basalt Delta's, can yield 1-2 Nitre, and can be used to fuel 1 item, it also allows the crafting of torches, crafting of gunpowder and can be smelted to make glass, etc.
- Wolf Treat, when given to a tamed wolf, it'll fully heal their health.
New Food
- Cactus Fruit, is a 10% chance to drop from mining a Cactus (works with Fortune), consuming this will damage you half a heart, but give's you stackable "Thorny Skin (x)+1" potion effect. 0.5 Hunger, 0.5 Saturation.
- Cactus Fruit Salad, when consumed will give you "Thorny Skin X" for 20 seconds. 3 Hunger, 0.5 Saturation.
- Truffle/Snowy Truffle, has a chance to drop from a pig when right-clicking a pig with a Red Mushroom, Brown Mushroom (depending on biome) or 100% with Golden Carrot. Consuming this will grant the "Iron Gut" potion effect for 15s. 1 Hunger, 0.5 Saturation.
- Truffle Stew, consuming this will grant "Iron Gut" for 30s. 4 Hunger, 7.5 Saturation.
- Truffle Omelette, consuming this will grant "Iron Gut" for 30s. 2.5 Hunger, 1.5 Saturation.
- Echo Mead, consuming this will take 2x longer to drink, but will produce a Echolocation effect, making mobs in a 64 block radius glow for 15s. 5 Hunger, 7 Saturation.
- Stir Fried Pork, gives 6 Hunger, 6.5 Saturation.
- Glazed Steak, gives 6 Hunger, 7.5 Saturation.
- Braised Rabbit, gives 4 Hunger, 4 Saturation.
- Chocolate Chip Cookie, gives 1.5 Hunger, 1 Saturation. Consuming this will be 1.5x faster.
- Fungus Stew, gives 3 Hunger, 2.5 Saturation.
- Nether Curry, gives 4 Hunger, 6.5 Saturation. Consuming this will grant "Fire Resistance" for 2m.
- Squid Ink Risotto, gives 3 Hunger, 2.5 Saturation.
- Glow Squid Ink Risotto, gives 2.5 Hunger, 1.5 Saturation. Consuming this will grant "Night Vision" for 30s and "Glowing" for 30s.
- Glow Berry Jam, gives 3 Hunger, 1.5 Saturation.
- Fruit Juice, gives 4 Hunger, 3 Saturation.
New Blocks
- Tiling Block, a simple black and white floor design using Blackstone and Calcite.
- Stripped Mushroom Block, right-clicking a Mushroom Stew, Red Mushroom Block or Brown Mushroom Block will shear of it's respective Mushroom and turn it into a Stripped Mushroom Block, this can also be done via a stonecutter or in a crafting table.
- Webbed Deepslate, can be found within the new "Spider Den" structure, crafted by using a Cobbled Deepslate with Cobweb or getting hit by a Spider/Cave Spider while on top of Cobbled Deepslate. Walking on this will make you walk a bit slower. This block can also be sheared to give you Cobweb, allowing for a passive Cobweb/String farm by sacrificing health.
- Nitre Ore, can be found within Basalt Delta's below y 64 near the lava lakes. Yields up to 1-2 Nitre and can be used with Fortune and is Silktouchable. Smelting this block or a blast furnace will grant just 1 Nitre.
- Honeysuckle, can be found within any type of Birch Forest and Flower Forest, and is uncommon to find. Can be used to make Honey.
New Potion Effects
- Thorny Skin, depending on each the level of the potion effect, you'll deal 0.5x[level] to an enemy that attacks you, max level you can get to is X/10.
- Iron Gut, with this potion effect active, if you get Hunger, Poison or Nasuea, this potion effect will consume itself as well as any of the mention potion effect's and gives you 3 Hunger, making it super useful to consume rotten flesh after a Iron Gut meal/dish, or for intentionally poisoning yourself or in a fight with a Husk or Witch.
Additional Things
- Spider Den Structure, found within deepslate levels, this structure spawns near Lush Caves, Deep Dark's, Dripstone Cave's, under any mountain/hill as well as Dark Oak Forest's. These structures usually contain a lot of cobweb's and webbed deepslate and contains a cave spider spawner. They also come with a chest with the loot: String, Rabbit Hide, Cobweb, Echo Shard, Truffle, Fermented Spider Eyes and Emeralds.
- Mushroom Blocks, can be crafted via 2x2 of their respective Mushroom or, applying a mushroom with a Stripped Mushroom Block to craft.
- Obtaining Truffles, when giving a Pig, a Mushroom, it depends on biome, biomes like the Nether, Oceans, Rivers, Beach's will never give Truffles, while Oak Forests have a small chance, Birch Forest's having a better chance and Dark Oak Forest's having the most chance to getting a Truffle, using a Golden Carrot will always give a Truffle, regardless of biome.
- Iron Gut Potions, can be brewed in a brewing stand with a Truffle or Snowy Truffle. The potions grant "Iron Gut" for 2 minutes.
