Recall Potion

How does it work?

Brew an Eye of Ender into an Awkward Potion to make a "Potion of Ender"

Potion of Ender's main purpose is to be brewed into a Potion of Recall, but you can drink it for a few seconds of random teleporting around :)

Brew a diamond into a Potion of Ender to make a Recall Potion!

Drink the Recall Potion to gain the Recall effect for 8 seconds. When the timer is over, you will be teleported to your home!

* Overall cost is 1 Eye of Ender and 1 Diamond to make up to 3 Potions of Recall.

* If you don't have a bed, you will be teleported to the world's spawn point.

* Dimensional travel is disabled.

* All vanilla forms a potion can take are available, but the effects only work on players.

* Yes, you can drastically shorten the recall timer with a splash potion. 8 seconds is slightly unnecessarily too long.

Why?

Not having a quick way to go back home (except to Ender Chest your items and die) really ruins exploring for me.

However, a /home command or even an expensive item won't do it for me. Any home teleport potentially saves you from hours of walking or potential death, especially if travelling by nether. Which is why, in my opinion, it must be a single-use item which would be somewhat expensive before late game.

An eye of ender both ensures you aren't too early in the game and fits into the theme of teleportation.

A diamond is the perfect price while also having the color I wanted the potion to have :)

A short timer (8s + drinking time if you drink it, drastically shorter by all other means of applying potions) to ensure no emergency teleporting when you fall in lava.

No dimensional travel because that would be way too strong. The entire point of both nether and end is to be a challenge you must go in prepared for.

Effects only work on players - you can't just tp any animal you want to capture instantly, or get rid of any monster instantly.

Potions and not new items because then I don't have to draw textures (I did draw the Recall effect icon, though. I think it came out nicely)
