It would be useful to have a command to reload config files without shutting down the game/server.

Edit: I am not entirely certain how to flag this as an enhancement suggestion. I have seen that on other posts.

Thanks for the feature request. Github requires flares to be set by a bot or a project member.

In 1.12.2 every resource hog causes several new items to be created. You can not create new items while the game is running so reloading is not possible here.

In 1.14.4 I plan to use the datapack system which does allow for reloadable things. So this will have to wait for the 1.14.4 port of the mod.
