Return by Death

Return by Death is a mod introducing a time-based checkpoint system:

• Checkpoint Creation: Every 30 seconds, a new checkpoint is created. Dying resets the 30-second timer.
• Respawning: When you die, you immediately respawn at the most recent checkpoint.
• Insanity Effect: After 5 total deaths, your screen fades to black, and you enter a slow, “Insane” state. Nearby mobs or players are also slowed and take damage.

This mechanic provides a higher-stakes, immersion-focused gameplay experience, similar to time-loops.

How to use it:

• Simply install the mod, and checkpoints will automatically begin creating themselves every 30 seconds as you play.
