This mod adds new equipment, weapons and enchantments to be used in combat along with some unique items that change your gameplay. The drop chances for all of the items can be edited with the config file in case you think they're too common or too rare. Some values like damage bonus given by some equipment can be tweaked as well.
Note that ShadowizardLib is required to run this mod. A port of Runic Items for newer Minecraft versions is also in the works.
Currently this mods adds:
- Archer Boots can be found from buried treasure chests. Wearing these increases your arrow damage.
- Fighter Boots are sometimes dropped by slaying Ravagers. Wearing these increases your physical melee damage.
- Wizard Boots can gotten by trading with a Cleric Villager. Wearing these increases your magic damage.
All of these Boots can be crafted together with a Nether Star to get an upgraded version of the boots that increases the damage bonus even more.
- Mallet can be found being wielded by Wither Skeletons. Killing it has a chance to drop the Mallet. It does 9 damage but is slower than a sword.
- Secrets of Life and Death can sometimes be dropped by and Evoker when killed. It acts like a Totem of undying, but with a twist. It turns you undead when activated. As undead you burn in the sunlight, are immune to poison and regeneration and other undead mobs ignore you if you don't bother them. If you want to cure yourself you need to have the weakness debuff and eat a golden apple.
- Target Cracker is an enchantment for the Mallet. It increases the damage you do to armored targets. The better the level of this enchantment the more armor you can pierce meaning level 1 target cracker only increases damage if your target has 1 armor piece equipped, level 2 if it has 2 or less pieces and so on... Each level also increases the damage a bit.
