Welcome to my Magic Staffs mod. This mod aims to add new ranged items to the game both for utility and combat.

UPDATE 11: Death of the Necromancer Staffs.... (for now). Necromancer Staffs TEMPORARILY removed until they are in a functional state. I will continue to work on it, I just wanted to at least get something out to you guys. There may be a 3rd Necromancer Staff already good to go for when the bug is worked out, who knows.... ;) 1.18 fully supported, the file will be uploaded soon. I hope you all enjoy, I will get the skeletons back in your hands as soon as possible! <3

Edit: Feel free to post feedback about the staffs. Everything from durability, damage or even distance a staff can shoot. Would love to hear everyone's opinions.

Adds 11 magic staffs to the game. The Staff of Stone, the Staff of Flames, Greater Staff of Flames, the Staff of Ice, the Greater Staff of Ice, the Ender Staff, Greater Ender Staff, the Necromancer Staff, the Vampiric Necromancer staff, the Vampiric Staff and the Frostfire Staff.

Staff of Stone - Shoots stone at enemies dealing moderate damage. Moderate melee damage. Moderate durability. 1.5s cooldown.

Staff of Flames- Shoots fire at enemies dealing moderate damage and setting them on fire. Moderate melee damage. Low Durability. Targets on fire take extra damage. 1.5s cooldown.

Staff of Ice - Shoots Ice at enemies dealing high damage and slowing movement speed. Turns nearby water into ice on use. High melee damage. Very High Durability. 1.5s cooldown

Ender Staff - Shoots Ender Pearls, teleporting the player where the pearls land. Low melee damage. Low Durability. 1.5s cooldown.

Necromancer's Staff(Disabled) - Shoots bones that summon a strong Skeleton Minion at the target location under control of the player. Moderate melee damage. High Durability. 5m cooldown.

Vampiric Staff - Rapidly shoots Vampiric Shards. Entities hit are cursed as their health is drained to the wielder. Low projectile damage. Drain Health effect for 5 seconds on hit. High melee damage. Very high durability. No cooldown.

Greater Staff of Flames - Stronger variant of Staff of Flames. 1.25s cooldown.

Staff of Frostfire - Shoots Frostfire at the target location, slowing movement speed for 4 seconds and setting the target on fire for 8 seconds. Very high melee damage. Very high durability. 1.25s cooldown.

Greater Ender Staff - Stronger Variant of Ender Staff. 1.25s cooldown.

Vampiric Necromancer Staff(Disabled)- Shoots bones that summon a Skeleton Mage at the target location under control of the player. High melee damage. High Durability. 5m cooldown.

Greater Staff of Ice - Stronger variant of Staff of Ice. 1.25s cooldown.
