Squall lines are a line of thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds, hail and sometimes tornadoes
Derecho's definition is a little weird, but it generally means a strong windstorm associated with a fast moving group of thunderstorms known as a mesoscale convective system. Derechos have strong straight line winds, flash floods and heavy rains. There are 4 types of derechos
Serial
Progressive
Hybrid
Low-dewpoint
In terms of implementation you could look back on #36 since that already gives baseline with cold and warm fronts and stuff like that.
