This is a remake of the popular SNAD mod by - TheRoBrit.

Made for minecraft 1.16.5 that includes features from DarkMorford's Just another Snad Mod that was made for minecraft 1.12.2 and has yet to be updated.

This mod contains Snad, Red Snad and Soul Snad. (So far)
Snad Types

This mod is slightly different to the original Snad due to the fact that this Snad (Regular, Red and Soul) only increases growth rate upon redstone pulses and doesn't increase groth rate of crops on top without it.
Why? 2 reasons. 1. Who really wasn't pumping these full of redstone? 2. I am not very smart and somehow when I first tried to implement due to thinking some people may want it as a feature, I could get it to work for a solid 2 minutes before it would never work in the current minecraft world - EVER again. 

This rendition of Snad "out of the box" supports Cactus and Sugar cane on both Snad and Red Snad, and Nether Wart on Soul Sand.

FOR MODDERS AND MODPACK CREATORS: But you can make ANY BLOCK CROP (E.G crops that just stack the same block over and over. Such as Sugar cane and Cactus.) compatible with SNAD and RED SNAD by giving it the block tag "forge:snadable" and you can make any single tiled crop (E.G Wheat, potato, carrot, and Possibly things like Pumpkin and Watermelon, yet to test) that are BONEMEALABLE work with SOUL SNAD by giving it the block tag "forge:soulsnadable".

I did try to make Kelp work as well but that was a buggy monstrosity and would spawn 25 water blocks high into the air. Upon trying to fix the issue and make Kelp max out at a height of 5 along with the warning to only snad it under 5 Blocks deep in the water the kelp refused to connect and grow properly.

SNEND (Snad + Endstone) block Planned for future release after I release my plants and crops mod with full compatibility with Snad - Re[FORGE]d. 

Last thing to note: All other blocks placed on top of snad (excluding liquid) will be instantly broken as if the player didn't have silktouch. Whereas Logs will drop Logs, Coal ore will drop Coal and glass will drop nothing. Gravel on the otherhand has the chance to drop flint still so these blocks can also be used as an EXTREMELY fast flint farm. Will I change this?  No it's cool.

TL;DR:   
Snad, Red Snad and Soul Snad make compatable crops grow at an alarming rate when exposed to redstone pulses. (Static redstone current won't work) if your redstone clock is far away from the Snad consider putting a repeater infront of the Snad because signal strength is taken into account.  Also spam placing gravel on top works for an extremely efficient flint farm.

On each pulse there is a % chance that a growth stage will be added. Due to a workaround Netherwart skips straight to maximum growth but as a result has a slower rate. Other Soul Snad Crops added by others - and my upcoming mod, won't have the same issue and will only grow one stage at a time. 

Because the original Snad works differently using game ticks rather than rolling random numbers when it's hit with a pulse this mod will grow crops at a non-consistent rate but overall grows crops slightly faster.

No need to ask to use in your modpacks, anyone can use this in anything, this is simply my new rendition inspired by of the work of TheRoBrit and DarkMorford. I'd love to see this used in modpacks and I'd love to see other modders make their crops compatible with this mod.

Theirs is classic Snad with the one block but uses the old system where it will in fact also make Crops grow faster without a redstone signal.
