Expected Behavior

Whenever I break blocks there is a bit of xray vision at the bottom of the screen I tried installing some lighting mods e.g. phosphor and starlight but they don't fix the issue.

Make sure you have "always defer chunk updates" disabled. You can also try to increase the number of "chunk update threads".

Yo, I had the same issue and here's what I figured out regarding this bug:

It gets triggered when you reload resource packs (F3+T)

Fixing: go into your .minecraft folder, mods folder, then simply delete the sodium mod and copy it in again {I recommend keeping the mod file copy somewhere else you can copy it again if the issue resurfaces}

I hope this will work for you, it does for me. And don't worry about your settings getting reset or something, they don't change even if you go through this process.

No it wasn't that and I just figured out it was my graphics driver out of date I learned this while I was in my Graphics Command Centre and then I saw that it required an update

and this bit right here had a red dot

So I had to install this app

and now all I need to do is stay up to date with it but thanks for the help
