Armor/Block outline becomes invisible/bugged in 1.20.5+

Bug Description

Expected behaviour:

Works fine, as if nothing changed, and block outlining works fine

Actual behaviour:

Glowing shows what's really there
image
Block selector is also bugged
image

Reproduction Steps

  1. Join a world in 1.20.5+
  2. Wear some armor/look at block
  3. Wait for bug to occur

This bug (that occurs in Vanilla as well) is thanks to GraalVM JDK 21. If you're experiencing this, switch to a different JDK 21.
