So far what iv noticed in the 1.12 version is that wolves dont follow you once your a certain distance away and they dont automatically teleport to you like regular wolves. Also one of my wolves randomly disappeared idk if its related to this but he would stop following me cause I would get too far and I gave up and left him there. Once I came back and he was gone. Whistle didn't do anything.
