This mod adds a large amount of eggs. They can not hatch, their only utility is decoration and possibly use as currency. This also adds a recipe to craft the Dragon Egg, but it requires killing 81 Ender Dragons.
There are four types of Eggs:
Resource Eggs:
These are obtained by putting an egg in a smithing table and combining them with a metal ingot, a gem, or coal. Unlike other Resource Eggs, Netherite Eggs are made by adding a Netherite Ingot to a Diamond Egg instead of a normal egg.
Mob Eggs:
These can be obtained from certain mobs by killing them while holding a specific enchanted resource egg in your off hand. The list of mob eggs that exist can be found by looking at the advancements added by this mod. This mod's advancement menu appears once you've collected one egg.
Enchanted Eggs:
There is an enchanted variant of every egg in the previous two categories, and normal chicken eggs. The enchanted variant of an egg is obtained by crafting 9 of the egg together. Enchanted Eggs can also be crafted back into 9 of the original egg.
Rainbow Eggs:
These rare eggs are obtained as rewards for four of the advancements in this mod.
Additionally, there are five eggs that are not normally obtainable: Echo Egg, Enchanted Echo Egg, Soul Egg, Enchanted Soul Egg, and Rainbow Turtle Egg. All five of these require the WildBackport mod, and an additional datapack is required for the Soul Egg, Enchanted Soul Egg, and Rainbow Turtle Egg. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put links to a place to download the data pack on curseforge, so the datapack probably won't be available to the public, sorry :C
The Echo Egg is obtained by adding an Echo Shard to a Turtle Egg in a smithing table, and the Soul Egg is obtained by killing a Warden with an Enchanted Echo Egg in your off hand. The Rainbow Turtle Egg is a reward for getting an Enchanted Soul Egg and an Enchanted Echo Egg.
