Red Alert doesn't work on damage from mobs

Spellbound - 1.17.0
Hi, I noticed Red Alert barriers only work on other damage types than that caused by mobs, for example fall damage, fire ticks, wither.
Is that expected behavior? In older versions enchantment worked on mob attacks too.

After some testing it seems this is caused by mod Armor & damage scaling mod
