Steel Armory is a simple mod that adds a new material variant called Steel, while many mods have steel as a resource, we tried to do things a bit differently. Steel has a much higher durability than Iron, but is the same strength, with build in Toughness. Steel Armor is meant as an upgrade from Iron but a lesser value item than say Diamond or Netherite. Steel is also not as Enchantable as other armors.
Our Sword is a 3D item with a few fun little secrets about the model, try throwing it in your off-hand slot. (the model is not bugged in any way, and works as intended).

The Steel Bow is also a nice upgrade from the more traditional Bow, The range has been increased by about 60% and damage has been increased by roughly 33%. The Steel bow also makes use of the super fun item, The Spyglass! just craft a bow like normal, trading your sticks for Steel Ingots and throw a spyglass in the center!
Steel Armory also has 2 new enchantments! Poisoning is the first one, dealing Poison damage to the creature attacked! And Enchantment number 2 is called Thundering, Thundering will deal additional Thunder damage to any mob it happens to strike. Both of these enchantments have a Chance to activate, with damage increasing the better the enchantment level.
This mod was developed as a first time mod project for both I (Wagon) and Mince_Meat (Main Git Repo Owner). This mod took less than a few days of real time work and was incredibly fun to work on! expect more to be added to this mod in time! And be sure to follow each of our pages for more mods!
