Waterloggable Blocks
Derived blocks like slabs, stairs, columns, slablets, fences, etc. are waterloggable.
Individual Style Cards
Style cards are this mod's blueprints: each card represents a primary variation of a base block. Cards are reusable crafting materials so you only need to create a set of them once.
Dark Nether Brick (Everyone Has One)
No decorative block mod would be complete without a redo of Nether Bricks...
More of the Good Shingles
[1.16+] Some new "LongCut" roof shingle styles have been added as well as more stone variants for nether builds. Sloped roofs shown are courtesy the BlockCarpentry mod!
Stone-based Block Samples
Sampling of blocks similar to Stone including missing derivative blocks for some standard blocks like Smooth Sandstone.
Obsidian Blockset
Even Obsidian gets in on the fun. Slabs, walls, columns, trapdoors are as tough as the parent block.
Styled Bars
[1.16+] New bars for those new nether builds. Jailer's bars (inset) are pretty tough to break through (good pairing for obsidian or oynx cobblestone mazes).
Getting Style Cards
Just sneak+right-click a Style Catalog on any inventory container like a chest or barrel. The catalog's cards will be saved to the inventory. Cards that don't fit will be dropped next to the player.
Terracotta Block Samples
Let's not forget terracotta. There are full block sets for (soft) clay, terracotta, and stained terracotta. There are also polished and cracked terracotta sets as well as true white and black terracotta blocks.
Wooden Bars
Simple wooden version of Iron Bars.
Missing Blocks Found
The mod defines some missing derived blocks (and whole block sets) for standard items like glowstone, smooth stone, and prismarine. Finally, a Borderless Smooth Stone block!
Double Trouble
[1.16+] Some doors as pairs (typical use).
Decorate Your Ceilings Too
Slablets (Tiles if not wood) can be placed on the underside of blocks as well. Mod carpets can be suspended if config option is enabled (no more strings!)
Glass Block Samples
Sampling of the new glass blocksets including panes and paneling. Many patterns have "bright" variants that, like glowstone blocks, act as a max-level light source.
What's New - 6.0b3 [1.16.4/5]
Overview of features added for 6.0 series
Retro Texture Samples
Liked many of the old block textures? Like many of the new block textures? The 'Retro' blocksets let you have both at the same time. These oldies-but-goodies add great variations when texturing floors, ceilings, and walls.
Posts, Panels, Poles, and Trapdoors
New shapes for fancying up builds if Chisel and Bits, Blockcraftery, and such are not available...do you see the hidden trapdoor?
Bamboo Samples
Yay, something to do with all that bamboo besides fuel and scaffolding! Sugarcane gets some attention too (blocks on left).
Plank-based Block Samples
Sampling of blocks similar to wooden planks but in a variety of tone shades. See more samples in devworld screenshots below.
Style Catalogs
Block sets are organized roughly by material. Each material has a matching Style Catalog that contains Style Cards (like blueprints) for each base block in that catalog. Most blocks are craftable BUT there are a few blocks that require style cards to get.
Cobblestone Samples
Because most of the mod's blocks are crafted, there aren't any worldgen 'stone' blocks to convert to a matching cobblestone. But we really like cobblestone; so you can craft these too!
Fireproof Planks (Damp Wood)
No need to go to the Nether for fireproof wood. We provide more color options too.
Special Paver Tiles
[1.16+] Pavers are special tiles and slablets that accelerate a player's horizontal movement. There is even a special blue cloud glass paver (inset) for use in sky walkways!
Entity Sensitive Pressure Plates
We add a lot of pressure plates. They're not just for decorating though. Right-click with a feather to change how they're triggered. (Note some plates' modes are locked and cannot be changed.)
Or Using Crafting Recipes
Most base blocks are craftable; however, sometimes it's MUCH cheaper to use a Style Card in survival mode.
It's A Trap! (or Loot!)
Lots of new trapdoors. Many new patterns, many old patterns in different wood textures. Paneling can be used as camouflaged alternative to trapdoors!
Dungeon Block Samples
Sampling of blocks used for 'dungeony' builds. Most blocksets include mossy, cracked, and cracked-mossy variants as well.
Doors Doors Doors
[1.16+] Not as good as the band, but still pretty good. Initial batch of doors includes a set of 5 Oak variants and doors for the bamboo and dyed wood block sets.
Special Blocks Samples
Blocks for very particular requirements; see shingles collection as another examples of specific-use blocks.
Using Style Cards
After you unpack your cards, select the one you want to use and combine it with the base material block (eg. glass) on a crafting grid. Cards are reusable.
Blocksets - What's Included
For each base block, a full set of appropriate derivative blocks are included: slabs, stairs, walls, fences, buttons, slablets(tiles), panes, trapdoors, pressure plates, etc. [1.16+] upright or vertical slabs.
Connected Textures
[1.16+] Support for connected textures mod (CTM) for clear glass and bamboo slat panes
Shingles Blocks
More options for vanilla-style 'roofing' (aka stairs).
